YCD Supports Launch of Prysm LPD display tile at Infocomm 2010

Teaming up with YCD Multimedia, the leading global provider of smart digital media solutions for retailers, display innovator Prysm used the InfoComm 2010 audiovisual show in Las Vegas to unveil a new line of energy saving displays that can be combined to create a new level of experience in display environments. InfoComm is the largest and most comprehensive pro-AV event in the world, with more than 32,000 AV professionals and 900+ exhibitors.

The groundbreaking Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) solution was on display at the InfoComm show, June 9-11. LPD’s are purpose-built to provide applications with brilliant image quality for increased audience impact, the widest viewing angles for greater visibility, seamless configurations for improved content delivery and message, and consume up to 75% less power than other display technologies. YCD Multimedia players powered the displays, delivering digital media content quickly, easily and accurately, optimizing the booth experience.

“The amazing solution Prysm has engineered is a great match with our video wall (MuVi Wall™) technology,” said Noam Levavi CEO of YCD Multimedia. “Our flexible technology can serve content to displays in any array, shape, or size”.

Added Levavi, “We are excited to be able to support Prysm in the launch of their innovative LPD Tile Displays at InfoComm 2010. The flexibility of their free-form, eco-friendly, brilliant solution will be a game changer for the digital signage industry, allowing the displays to conform to the space instead of building the space to the limitations of the display. Together with YCD’s leading media player and video wall technology the possibilities are limited only to one’s imagination.”

“We are very pleased with the flexibility of the YCD’s MuVi Wall solution and how easily it interfaces with our product. YCD’s robust technology makes serving content to multiple, non-standard display formats simple, and cost effective.” said Dana Corey, vice president of global sales and marketing for Prysm.
