Retail’s Holy Grail?  A Sneak Peek at YCD’s New Content Management Platform


With the forthcoming launch this summer of YCD’s Real-Time Ad Management Platform (RAMP), YCD Multimedia is continuing to transform the way retailers communicate with their customers in-store. RAMP, developed to address the real needs and challenges of our retail customers, offers one platform for retailers, their agencies and their suppliers to manage their digital in-store media workflow and close the loop between digital promotions and actual sales, allowing for real-time optimization.

RAMP is a campaign management and distribution tool that emulates the real workflow between a retailer, their agency and their suppliers with tiered access rights established to reflect the work flow and approval levels found in the existing process. In real-time, a new digital campaign can be uploaded by the ad agency or production house, approved by the corporate headquarters and distributed to all or any subset of the retailer’s locations and scheduled to be played immediately or during a later day-part. With the built in content creation tool a regional office, or individual store can customize and generate their own promotions to suit their local needs from a library of pre-approved templates.

When fully integrated with the retailer’s point-of-sale platform, RAMP completes the information loop by allowing for analysis and reporting on the success of each in-store promotion and enables the retailer to use that data to optimize each campaign for maximum impact and return on investment.
