Retail Store of the Future - Powered by YCD Multimedia


New Look, one of the UK's largest fashion retailers with over 600 stores throughout the European Union, has recently unveiled its new flagship store in Liverpool. Retail Week called the new store design, equipped with YCD Multimedia audio and video digital media solutions, "a radical departure" and hailed the store as sleek and dramatic.

This is one of three New Look flagship store installations recently completed by YCD Multimedia. Maximizing the YCD|Platform and YCD|Player the store features a complete digital ambiance and digital merchandising solution with in-store music in addition to video screens at the cash wrap stations and fitting room areas powered by YCD Multimedia.



Fran Theanne, New Look's Design Concept Manager commented "There were several key aspects of the YCD system that were very attractive to New Look's emerging in-store multimedia strategy. Having embarked on an ambitious program to re-enforce and enhance product and brand recognition, we felt that YCD's technology offered a superior ability to centrally control and manage all our in-store media, enabling us to deliver new product promotions to our customers in a timely manner.
