A Letter From Our CEO
Greetings YCD Multimedia Partners, Clients and Friends:
At YCD Multimedia, we have one reason for being: to help make retailers and other consumer-facing businesses be more successful. Our industry-leading research and development efforts are continuing to focus on innovative ways that YCD Multimedia can transform the retail environment of the future, and our marketing team has been doing an extraordinary job of communicating this message to the industry, our customers and prospects alike. A short while ago we completed our brand refresh initiative to align our brand and message with our long-term business strategy. The results of those efforts have been well-received, most noticeably with the traffic growth of 75% per week on our new web site, ycdmultimedia.com. Adrian Cottrell of Daily DOOH, an industry-leading blog, was quoted as saying, “the bar may have been raised in terms of corporate web presence in the digital signage space”. We are also excited about the extensive media coverage of YCD Multimedia recently, particularly by The Wall Street Journal and Fox Business News.
We have had a busy 2008 characterized by great progress in the expansion of our US operations from our new base in New York City and continuing with innovative market development initiatives in Israel. Our business in the UK and the rest of world is also growing with exciting new pilot opportunities, including the New Look story in this newsletter.
This issue marks the re-launch of the YCD Multimedia Newsletter. We took a little time to redesign our newsletter to align with our brand refresh initiative. We’ll send it out quarterly to keep you up to date with news, projects, partners and profiles of our team. As always, we’d like to hear from you, so let us know what you think.
Sincerely,
